Why Acacia

The acacia tree is one of the most distinctive trees in East Africa – ancient, grounded, expansive. I’ve spent a lot of time in that part of the world, and somewhere along the way the acacia became deeply personal to me.

So personal that I wrote a novel about it. Under the Acacia Tree is set in Uganda, and at its heart are the conversations that happen on a bench beneath that tree – deep, honest and unhurried. The kind of conversations that change things.

That’s the spirit I bring to my work. Real exploration, real reflection, real change. The name Acacia Growth carries all of it – roots that go deep, growth that’s genuine, and the belief that the most important conversations happen when people feel safe enough to be honest.
