Executive Coaching
I work with senior leaders to build clarity, internal authority, and the confidence to lead at their best in complex environments.
Having coached hundreds of senior leaders over the years from the likes of Lloyds Banking Group, AstraZeneca & Clifford Chance, I’ve noticed time and again one thing – at a very senior level, there’s no manual. Greater scope, higher complexity, a more demanding stakeholder environment. Just you, the role, and the leader you want to be.
Leadership at this level isn’t asking you to fit the role. It’s asking you to define it.
The appointment was the permission
Observations
Earlier in my career, as the scope grew, I found myself in uncharted waters. The capability was there. The experience was there. But operating at that level demands something beyond technical skill or track record.
Coaching was what unlocked it for me. It gave me the confidence to back myself, to trust my gut where there was no blueprint, and the courage to lead as myself.
That’s the work I now do with others
Who This Is For

Why Me
I bring over 20 years of international experience in senior commercial and leadership roles -including four years within the United Nations system. I’ve operated at senior level inside large, complex, regulated organisations. I understand the environment you’re in.
That background informs everything I do as a coach. I’m not interpreting your world from the outside – I’ve lived a version of it. Combined with rigorous coach training and evidence-based diagnostics, that gives me the ability to get quickly to the core of what’s really going on.

What Clients Say
“Ed is unlike any executive coach I have worked with. Rather than relying on formulaic tactics, surveys or canned advice, he gets to the underlying “why” and helps me surface tools and techniques that were already there but just needed the right guide to draw them out. His approach is deeply thoughtful, practical, and transformative — and he is hands down the best coach I have encountered.”
Laura Whitt-Winyard — Chief Information Security Officer, Veolia
“Ed struck exactly the right balance throughout our coaching sessions. His challenges were thoughtful and well-timed, prompting me to pause, reflect, and look at my priorities through a different lens.”
Gwyn Pritchard — Managing Director, Watkin Jones Group
“Ed skillfully guided me through the process, helping me uncover my strengths and values, striking the perfect balance of challenge and space for exploring ideas and direction.”
Andy Parry — Head of Newton Technology, BNY Investments
“Being in a group allows you to take pressure off the mentally demanding aspects of 1:1 coaching, allowing for more reflection and gradual understanding of oneself through hearing the experiences of others.”
Cris Lipscombe — Senior Consultant, Kalypso, a Rockwell Automation Company
